Hang ten! Was the vibe on this totally rad spot from TELUS. Using stock footage of sea turtles we composited and beautified this channel surfer into a whole new world. Complete with underwater atmosphere, and a host of prime time bubble bundles.
This project was a huge team effort for the VFX department. Lots of indivual tracks and masks of the turtle so we could clean up and match colour across the variety of stock footage plates. Then simulating camera’s to create a 3D world full of refractive bubbles and shimering god rays to sell to tie all the elements together.
