I was humbled to be a part of the team working on the Louis Vuitton X Yayoi Kusama campaign. The campaign involved OOH Anamorphic Billboards, In-Store/Digital Displays, Flagship Store Facades, and even Digital Tokens.
I was tasked with adapting the original work-in-progress billboard for new locations as well as help create the Digital Tokens. Seemed straightforward at first, but each adaptation presented fresh challenges and a literal new perspective. Each scene demanded re-composition, re-animation, and crucially, re-lighting.
This was happening alongside the ongoing production and exploration of other billboards. It was a true technical juggling act to maintain a cohesive look/creative across all artists involved.
This team at JoyCgi is absolutely amazing and cruised through this campaign beautifully. I am grateful to have collaborated with such a talented team on these stunning Anamorphic Billboards and Digital Tokens as one of my first projects as a freelancer.
